 Responsibilities:

  • Provide troubleshooting assistance to the customer service team for hardware related issues
  • Install Hardware
  • May oversee installation projects
  • Resolve customer issues at customer sites
  • Communicate installation status and troubleshooting results with the VP of Operations
  • Train customers to install hardware

Qualifications:

  • Ability to learn our software for testing of installation
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Able to pass criminal background check and drug screen successfully
  • Valid drivers' license

Qualifications:

Inside Sales

Territories open:  West Coast

Responsibilities:

  • Building and Maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified leads
  • Sell in a defined geographic territory and within the K-12, municipal and commercial market
  • Synovia sell complex solutions that require multiple touches and a sales professional who can utilize SPIN selling methodology
  • Ensure that accurate and complete information is maintained in Salesforce.com
  • Work with the Sales Administrator to conduct routine quality checks
  • Facilitate webinar groups
  • Maintain repeatable processes that will enable prospects to learn about our solutions and make a purchase decision without a face-to-face meeting (e.g. create awareness, educate, E-mail content, web content and trials and pilots)

Sales Order Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the sales team ensuring that all requirements are satisfied prior to submitting a sales order for approval. Requirements include:
    • Completed, correct contract (ensure the following are included on the contract: a. Complete billing name and address b. Tax ID number c. Tax exemption status (if exempt, copy of exemption certificate attached to the opportunity in SF) d. Monthly payment amount (with correct math) e. Payment frequency indication f. Customer signature g. All terms and conditions pages attached and initialed)
    • Completed, approved configuration
    • The number of units and pricing on the configuration and the contract must be the same
    • Satisfactory credit report for private sector opportunities
    • Completed Delivery Handoff Questionnaire
    • Completed ACH/Credit Card form emailed to finance@synoviasolutions.com (for payments less than $250)
    • IRS letter confirming NFP status attached to the opportunity (for not-for-profit customers)
    • Additional documentation may be needed for 60-month contracts over $50k
  • Once all requirements are met, submit documents for approval; keep sales team informed of progress
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Senior Software Developer


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a senior developer and key technical contributor in building and enhancing the company's backend SaaS platform.
  • Design and implement specific solutions that meet immediate business needs while aligning with the organization's long-term data and technology strategy.
  • Work directly with business stake-holders to hone business requirements and collaboratively identify viable, cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop all necessary proto-types as needed to demonstrate concept and design.
  • Utilize rapid application development methodologies to implement solutions with high quality and minimal overhead.
  • Serve as a key contributor in building out a service-oriented, real-time-intelligence architecture that will facilitate a new breed of highly-aware, operational applications.
  • Be self-managed, self-motivated and capable of working individually, or in a very small team.
  • Understand how to integrate with existing databases, applications and other sources of customer and transactional intelligence in order to add value to developed applications.

Support Developer (Tier III)


Responsibilities:

  • Work within a team of software developers and QA engineers to support and maintain .NET software applications using BitBucket for source code management
  • Prepare detailed design documentation and document issues & applications
  • Stay current with tools and design, maintain and support our systems through bug fixes, customized requests and small enhancements
  • Analyze existing software and efficiently problem solve for client requests
  • Perform and document appropriate testing to ensure quality delivery
  • Write unit test plans and provide coordination and support of testing using different tools
  • Provide estimates on activities/tasks required to perform application support and maintenance
  • Support your team’s work as well as independently create and finalize all the code on a project
  • Create strategies for performance tuning & monitoring to maintain overall application stability
